  Nice dark fruit, smooth and drinking well. My last bottle and worth the wait. Paired with linguini in a rich butter, parmesan and prosciutto sauce, worked perfectly.

  A big yet fresh Sangiovese, merlot and syrah blend. On the nose: black cherry, plums, floral, licorice and some tobacco. On the palate: savory and just a bit drying tannin. Medium long finish easies out to some floral sweetness. Calls out for food... 90+. Should get another bottle and see how it evolves in another 2 years. I love the fact that the abv is 14 even though 2009 is a very hot year.
