Fine. Really fine. Mid ruby, some browning to rim. Plenty of dark fruits, black cherry and blackberry. Some slightly grainy tannins still around. Sous-boils developing. Good acidity, decent length. Good to drink now but I think this has more to develop into.

Comme beaucoup de 2010 du domaine de la Vougeraie, ce beaune n’est pas un monstre de puissance mais se veut d’une grande délicatesse. Le nez est moyennement intense et dégage des notes de sous-bois. La bouche est équilibrée sur la fraîcheur. L’ensemble est plaisant, prêt à boire. Cela manque peut-être un peu de profondeur et d’intensité aromatique. A boire dans les 2 ans.

One of my last bottles, taken to Stem in Mayfair. Opens with powerful black and red fruit for the first half hour or so and then settles down. The appearance is light ruby. The nose is slightly gamey earth and sous bois. The palate ranges blackberry, black cherry, morelo cherry, earth and a hint of animale with high acidity (this wine is built to last). Paired very well with our miso marinated sirloin and lamb dishes. 92+ drink or hold for more complexity
