  Ok so I had such high expectations for this wine - the petite Syrah I bought in the same visit was easily a 95+ , however even after 6+yrs in the cellar this one don’t achieve the greatness I was expecting - it was great on two fronts - one the mouth feel was good , full and good acidity but not too much, the mid pallet taste was great , pure grape , however the begging was not your typical cab , moe like a new word Italian than an Napa wine , spice upfront

  Classic Cab profile, but with a lovely maduro cigar note on the nose. Tannins are still prominent, so although this is drinking well it may soften further. The finish is just moderate, a little disappointing for the price.
