It's been a few vintages since I've tried one of these, and I've been missing out. This stuff rocks. Bright copper color. Zesty, chalky nose with lemon, apricot, grapefruit, along with white pepper and verbena. Nice mix of plump fruit on the palate (pineapple, honeydew) along with zesty, crunchy, salty notes. Spicy, herbal, bright, complex. So fun.

Always one of my favorite rosés—the midpalate is a musky applesauce spiced with cinnamon, but the wine finishes dry, and I find it addictive, versatile, and all too easy to drink. In no way heavy to my palate.

No surprises here. A good inexpensive rose that will neither disappoint nor change your life.

David's. Very pale. Attractive unripe strawberry notes with dust and canteloupe. Excellent.
