At the begining a lot of oak predominant and forest floor. After a hour open fruits comes forward with dark cherries, plums, almond, coffee and well integrated tannins. The acid is on point and softens everything up.
Drink or hold.

Decanted for two and half hours prior to tasting. Medium ruby color; dark raspberry nose. Lots of intense dark fruit; blackberry, plum, black cherry. Well-structured; with firm tannins that are built for the long haul. Rich tertiary flavors of tobacco, leather, and Tuscan dust. Almost Bordeaux-like in intensity, it is all balanced out by lively acidity.
This one is still a bit young. Revisit in a few years

This rancia Very backwards the first two days were drinking. Lots of structure, somewhat linear in the pallet and the nose the first little bit here, mostly just soar cherry. On day three things started to open up a good amount. Cherry, some red fruit, earthy, and herbaceous notes. This was still drinking pretty good day . This thing has a long ways to go, but I honestly wouldn’t drink it now. It was a good To open one for science though.

Decanted. Medium, dark-garnet with clarity. Aromas of steeped red cherry & red apple skin, tea leaves, fresh hibiscus and nutmeg. Sour cherry and pomegranate flavors, dried herb, sandalwood and earth depth. Refined balance up front but slightly fading through the palate. Medium-plus acid, billowy round tannins, dry juicy finish, short to medium length. It tastes good, but is underwhelming structurally. Struggled to stand up to a Bolognese pairing. Drink now or hold, doesn’t need decanting.
