A sweeter then normal syrah but not in a bad way. Oak, chocolate, cassis juice with a nice velvety mouth feel. Feels like the last bottle was better. Jolly good show.

A crozes that reminds me a lot of a Côte Rotie, hence the price tag which is double of the average for the appellation. Still pretty worth it, it has plenty of smoky bacon, it's meaty and not as greenish as the other wines in the appellation. Tannins are super smooth barely noticeable. Good stuff.

Dad wanted more Northern Rhone so this is it. Just lovely. Boysenberry, Vanilla, chocolate and slight spice. Just a tad above med body and on the sweeter side. Super lovely tannins still going on producing a nice mouthful. Really wish. I had one more.

At a recent en primeur tasting. A gorgeous nose I could sit and wallow in all evening. Medium plus weight fruit with well balanced tannins and a very long finish. My pick of wines in this price range and have bought some. In common with the better mid range wines of this vintage they will drink relatively young and for at least couple of decades.
