Night one this seems a bit on the oaky side, much more than I'd expect from Garagiste. Seeing past the vanilla and toast, though, it seems like a solid and well made wine.
A couple nights later it was fine. Nothing special, as others have indicated, and a bit of a disappointment considering the Garagiste hype. But that's the thing - you never quite know when he's full of BS or he's accurately reflecting the wine.
Dark and opaque. Very Bordeauxish. Deep, concentrated, dry and sophisticated. More oak showing than the '2020 of this same wine also on the table, but also more tannins.

I am a fan of Cab Franc hence the purchase of 6 bottles. The label includes an extra sticker saying 95 points. In my view not 95 points. The best Cab Franc of recent tastings is the Pondera, this Marcelo starts off very harsh and bitter but this does blow off in a half hour or so and become more mellow. With my other bottles I think I will decant.
