This may have needed more time when previously reviewed but after decanting a half hour or so, this wine showed as a flavorful Cab Franc (100%). It has dark fruit, spice, structure, soft tannins, and balance typical of a Cab Franc from this region (Bourgueil, along the Loire). Perhaps a bit surprisingly, this was overall reminiscent of a good Chianti. Organic, natural. A Kermit Lynch selection. It will continue to improve but was disappearing fast at the tasting I attended.

Decanted one hour. “It’s French…” But, not as mineral forward as many others we’ve tried. Dark berries, tannins. Needs more time to fully develop.
