This is a well-made Chardonnay. However, it tastes more new world than old world, and has a tad too much oak for my preferences. I almost think this wine needs to sit for 5 years and let the oak and tannins settle out. It was not great on its own, but it paired well with the appetizers like milk potatoes, lamb belly, and pasta we had with great friends at Oquirrh restaurant. Bottom line -- I thought I was drinking an American chardonnay instead of a french one. Just my own personal opinion kids.

Peaches, pears and honey, ripe and full. Not my favorite style, but a solid village Chassagne
