WSET3 Course Notes; 4/28/2024-6/9/2024 (WineHouse, Los Angeles): A: Medium garnet. N: Medium+ intensity. Garrigue is very pronounced. White pepper, pretty strawberries and raspberries. A little bit of vanilla. Coffee, touch of dried meat. It's developing. P: Dry. Medium acidity and tannin. High alcohol. Medium+ body, it's somewhat oily. Medium+ flavour intensity. Dehydrated strawberries, cedar, and coffee. Medium+ finish with nice garrigue. AQ: Good to very good quality. 8/18, I just find it too ripe. Not sure how long this can age.

Peppery black raspberries and kirsch with olives and herbs coming in at the end of the nose. On the palate, the wine is fresh, spicy, elegant, and medium-bodied with a nice olive-tinted kirsch finish. The grapes are completely destemmed with a blend of mostly Grenache, with Mourvedre, Syrah and Cinsault. This will be quite nice to enjoy on release. Drink from 2023 - 2034
