I was totally shocked this wine was not dead yet. It was a little past it’s prime, but seriously not by much.
Was a little thinner than when I tasted it back in 2016, but it was very floral and was super smooth with an elegant finish. I think it has 2 years left. I have one more bottle and will be sure to drink it this year.

Quite nice and good to try. Good condition. Gave it an hour in air and the fruits would be back. Raspberry, blueberry, cedar, smokey, pepper and asian spicy. Silky tannin with medium acidity, medium long finish. It's absolutly better than its vintage 1999. A good example of aged CDP. However, it's over the peak. Drink quick.

Over the hill, this bottle. Pruny with marks of kirsch and popcorn. Some rhum/raisin notes as well. I don’t think this was a flawed bottle, this is just gone.
