Coravin by the glass. Nose of black cherry, bramble and spice. Cherry, dried herbs, tobacco and underbrush on the palate. Finishes with good length. Medium to full bodied. Served with baked macaroni and cheese.

Over 75% Zinfandel, these gnarly old vines planted in 1888 off of Madrone Road on yer way to Sonoma never disappoint. Also, what this amazing site produces is not what you would expect. Typically, this is one of the most Burgundian wines within the portfolio. Cherry schnapps, roobios tea, terra cotta, bramble berries and vermouth. Long and focused, with silky and layered tannins. Unfolds nicely. Long finish. Possibly I have downplayed this and that it is very similar to the ‘18. Drink now - 2033.
