  Lovely rich classic Chardonay nose, well balanced wine with good acidity cutting through the richness. Slight apple notes. Elegant wine, well made. Tasted at 67PM Kistler tasting

  A wonderful expression of the Stone Flat Vineyard. Frankly I never heard of this Vineyard before. Tremendous acidty right from the start in mouth. Let me start with aromatics that jump from the glass. There is fresh lemon rind, lime, papaya, and mango. In mouth the wine starts creamy, moves right into brighter minerality and settles on a long..... lingering .....llingering .....lingering .....flavor of lemon.
  
  This is a big time wine that will get only better. Can see this scoring higher.

  First Kistler. Gave it a couple hours in the decanter at caller temp. Beautiful full bodied Chardonnay. Nice glycerol mouthfeel; almonds, lemon panda cotta (not too sweet and not too tart), floral, and a hint of spiciness - white pepper - on the finish. Super complex already and hard to hold off from finishing the bottle.

  Ojai Food + Wine Festival; 10/26/2023-10/29/2023 (Ojai Valley Inn): This was excellent! First time having a Kistler Stone Flat and it's a new fave. Beautiful, balanced wine.
