  • Medium yellow-gold, this wine has now come into its own. Ramonet's village offerings are often comparable or superior to premier cru offerings from lesser producers. In the same vein, they often require comparable cellar time as would be the case for such upper-echelon (yet lesser-pedigreed) wines. Honeysuckle, white flowers, wet stones and citrus peel aromas and flavors reside in a medium-bodied, fresh frame with well-integrated alcohol (listed as 13.5%). Now fully solidified within the middle, it concludes with substantial length. Impressive, but not surprising from this producer. Drink now-2016.

  • Denne vinen har gjennomgått en veldig positiv utvikling siste 2 årene. Bra kropp, fylde, lang smak. Nøtter og smør.

  • Tasted at the Vintage Wines, Ltd. wine bar. Pale straw robe. Quite intense nose of white flowers, orange blossoms and wet stones. Light-to-medium-bodied on the palate, thin-textured and with somewhat flabby acidity. The flavors mirror the nose but are muted. Short-to-medium finish. This is disappointing, as the wonderful nose is not followed by a comparable gustatory experience. Drink now-12/12.
