Opened my last bottle, a magnum, that I’d been holding onto. Very curious whether it was way past it’s peak. Happy to say that despite fairly extreme age for a CA chard, it is still drinking extremely well. Love the hints of lemon zest, flowers and pineapple. Lots of complexity with a medium finish. SK remains one of my very favorite California Chardonnays.

Oak notes on nose along with honeysuckle, apricot, apple and maybe some pineapple. Much lighter on the palate with only the lightest note of well integrated oak. Light-medium body. Apple and pear, less tropical on palate. Would drink in the near future.

As good as a bottle on 09/11/15. And like that bottle, this has become much more reserved. Nutty, apricot, and tropical fruit. This turned out to be a very good oyster wine at Jake's Famous Crawfish in Portland.

This is still drinking beautifully. I love the nuanced and complex flavors of apricot, pear, pineapple, green apple with a hint of hazelnut, which I couldn't put my finger on but another reviewer mentioned. The nose has a bit of honeysuckle and apricot. One of my favorite chardonnays.

Much more nutty than previous bottles. A few years of age compared to a previous '07 have really changed this wine. More tropical fruit flavors than citrus and more viscous than tangy.
