Bright yellow gold, crystal clear Bright white peach and pear nose, no tropical notes appreciated in this bottle Big mouthfilling glass of wine with bright pear and a slight butter rum note in the finish. Quite impressive and delicious. On the big and heavy side, but avoids any clumsiness through nice balance. Neither elegant nor restrained, but quite tasty. By this bottle, I’d say drink now, though safe to hold

Our last bottle, anniversary vintage, purchased on release via a friend's order as we had not yet been elevated from the wait list. Judging on appearance alone, one would think this was only a couple of years old as its is still a very pale yellow color. Tropical bouquet of banana, coconut, pear, fig and vanilla. Rich and layered. Pear, apple, coconut and citrus flavors with a subtle stone/dusty limestone sort of thing. Long finish. Impressive.

Served a bit above cellar temp with Osteria Langhe's plin (frozen) and fresh morels, and this made for a really nice match. Notes of tropical fruit, apple and lemon with a nice floral element underneath. Rich texture, with flavors of apple, lemon, mineral and softened oak tones. Lengthy finish. In a really nice place right now, though should easily hold for a few years, perhaps maybe improve too.

From magnum. Bright yellow color with aromas of apple, fig and beeswax. Plenty of fruit on the palate with well-integrated oak. Long and balanced across the palate. Lingering finish. Rich; layered. Fantastic. No rush in this format. 95-96 pts.
