Needs two hours at least to open, I see now. At first its tannic and closed, constricted. But with time the wine is unmistakably of a place, and it shows detailed and complex floral, tar, dark fruit flavors. A wine that seems to need an event to pair with, not something to drink by the glass

Had a glass at a BBQ crowded with lots of wine, so cannot really evaluate, but will say that I was not terribly impressed. The wine is correct and fine, with a surprisingly youthful feel to the structure and tannins, but with a faded feeling to the fruit, and without any real energy or pungency.

Against the other Rinaldi's I've had, this is the least impressive. It has wonderful fruitiness and lightness with some very, however indistrinct tannins. It's been more than a week since I had it so I cannot give more detailed description. The wine, however, would go very well with pizza or a medium-heavy pasta, and was well worth its money!

A bit reductive at first, then mineral and rust. Dark berries, a bit matured fruit. Fresh in the mouth with a pleasant bitterness in the end. Probably even better tomorrow. Yes, better on day 2.
