- Light gold color and aromas of tar. It's lacking fruit and has flavours of tar and medicinal with a light body. Narrow texture with a short finish - Sour, off tasting, over its prime.slightly bitter

Pale yellow in color with grassy qualities and stony minerality on the nose. Some slightly vegetal characteristics as well. Bright, clean and focused with nice balance between the grapefruit flavors, herbal notes, and acidity. One of my perennial favorite Sauvignon's, but at the price point, it's hard not to reach a few more bucks up the ladder and get a Cloudy Bay! If this was priced at $15 instead of $23 I'd give it 90-91.

(Mulderbosch Sauvignon Blanc) #1; COLOR-light straw; NOSE-some grass, more balanced; nice flinty-ness; solid; PALATE-crisp; put together; solid, although a little light and a kind of disappears on the finish; but very clean, very crisp; solid; not too heavy or gloppy; perfect summer wine; GV-88

Still one of my favorite Sauvignon Blancs. Great weight, melon mid palette with great acidity.

Clear and light with a piercing aroma of gooseberry. Solid crisp tartness with good balance and finish. Overall well balanced. K
