I am generally not a fan/don't understand the metier of New Z Chard, but this was a very pleasant surprise. Good fruit, balance and oak with some interesting melon or conifer in the background, and not the excessive citrus tones of so many down under whites.

This has stepped up from a year ago. Apple, melon, lemon with pear and hints of toast, some white flowers floating around. Balanced oak supports the creamy fruit and reserver custard, medium to full bodied and keeps driving on the finish.

Lemon yellow in the glass. On the nose, Ripe peach, greengage and apricot fruits with custard and nutty, biscuity tones. Full-bodied with intense fruits, well balanced acidity and well integrated oak. Good mouthfeel and length. Drinking at its peak now.

nice balance of fruit with some gently toasty oak in the background and with acid finish and length. Enjoyable bottle.
