From 75cl screwcap, P+P. Excellent, clean, bright, medium-bodied Chardonnay with sensitive oak treatment, a dead ringer for a good Bourgogne Ordinaire from the CdBeaune, just possibly a Villages Chassagne. Fair value at 33€ German retail, but not quite convinced it’s worth shipping half way round the world. Look forward to tasting the 2019 Block 2 Chard in due course. 88-89P

The (Temporary) Return of the Golden Weather: Autumn 2021 Visit to Central Otago: A nose of ripe orchard fruit, pear and peach. In the mouth, decent tension and acidity with more of that stone and pip fruit. Less citric than in some years.

Drukket uten notater, men husker smør, deilig munnfølelse og allikevel frisk syre. Herlig vin.
