  This wine is so overoaked that you can not taste the flavors of the wine. Essence of sawdust on the nose. Smells like a paper mill. It would be a nice wine if they cut the oak treatment by half, and let the subtle fruit flavors show through. This wine does not have the body or flavor componenents to stand up to this oak. Bad wine making.

  A nondescript Chardonnay. I didn't detect much, if any, oak. No mallolactic butteriness. In general, the style of Chardonnay I prefer. However, aside from some hints of melon, there wasn't a lot of fruit. Well balanced in the acidity department, but not much finish. Certainly nothing wrong with the wine, but nothing that really caught my attention either.
