Outstanding wine - very light in the glass, stunning acidity and a long finish. Not sure if it will improve more, but really amazing now. The oak is not as present which some users noted in an earlier drinking window

Ripe cherry fruit with some orange peel. Finishes with some vanilla and caramelized notes and a touch of heat. Seems a bit forced in terms of ripeness and oak, but still fine.

- Blind tasted - Nose: Elderberry, raspberry, liquorice, woodsy intense aromas, sour cherry at the highest degree. Accompanied by cinnamon and vanilla. Few mature notes. With time a hint of smoky BBQ sauce crystallizes. Also spicy and more and more vanilla with time. - Mouth: High acidity, straightforward, the sparkling acidity stands out. It shimmers through somewhat unripe, greenish almost bitter (which is not disturbing for me), a touch of perfume. Medium long finish. Similar to the nose in terms of aroma spectrum. Medium - in the tannin structure. - For me personally a bit too woody, not enough fruit and a bit slim body. Good drinking flow but Burgundy vinification is preferred with more fruit core. Too little depth.

Lot of matured aromas and with a remarkable touch of oak besides ripe strawberries and liquorice. Good fine structure, nice length, but no more very high vitality. Not to many years (4-6) ahead anymore. Drink and enjoy

World of Pinot Noir Tasting (13 Pinots from Burgundy, Germany, New Zealand, Oregon and California); 12/5/2020-12/6/2020 (Zoom): Very light in color (lightest of the 12 Pinots tonight). Pale Ruby.
Nose of sous bois, vanilla, some smoke.
