12.0% - Hazy, med to deep ruby with a purple reflection / clean, med intensity, black fruit, barnyard funk, herbaceous / dry, med acidity, med- lean body, med- tannin, med to low intensity, med to short length.
My expectations were a little bit higher given my appreciation of Domaine De la Pépière Muscadet range...

Delicious nose of soft cab franc with some spice...I honestly want to say its sort if like cumin? Maybe some reduction, as it goes away later. Moderately complex, with some merlot plum softness but mostly it cab franc driven. A light and juicy bistro style, really quite delicious and food friendly.

Splash decanted and drunk over 1-1/2 hrs. Opaque purple, perhaps a bit darker than the 2009. Nose of wild blackberry, minty-sagey herb and pepper that carries over to the palate in a slightly leaner, tarter, even more Bojo-like profile than the 2009. Perhaps oddly for 2010, I was left wanting a bit more acidity as the finish came off a tad flat. Nonetheless, a screaming bargain and I look forward to seeing how this wine progresses in bottle over the next year.

Bojo-like nose with a fresh cabbiness. The Granit v. 10 has a leaner body and a greener, more tart acidity than the more ripe, soft and rich -09. Needs an hour or two of air exposure to soften. Anyway, it's nice enough, still very good value, and pairs well with fried flatfish meunière.
