Deep yellow in glass. Initially a bit of aged funk in nose that cleared out with air time, transitioning from very muted to clean mineral and light lemon/meyer lemon/yellow stone fruit/pear with medium body, lovely balanced acidity and just a bit of aged softness--custard is too strong, but lightly rich if transparently so. Very nice. I suspect this is tops for this wine as far as age goes.

My second 2010 white (the other was Timorasso) in a week, and another wine that's in a great place right now. Shows equal amounts of freshness together with a confident maturity all supported by good structure. Complex in a variety of ways (that corridor between youth and maturity), this was hard to put down, and worked very well with various antipasti and pasta dishes. Drink in the next few years. recommended
Audozed 1 hr, served non-blind.

Lively lemon-peach-apricot; zesty initially then toned down to a soft round mineraly experience.
