Deep dark color, purple robe. Leafy blackcurrant bouquet with suggestions of licorice, green beans, tobacco, mocha, spice & cedar. Medium full, quite deep, intense, fresh & sappy black fruits with a skein of greenness perviating through despite obvious ripeness & absence of rough edges; highly polished tannins, powdery extracts & tangy acidity enhance its balance, focus & length. Long sustained finish.

Menthol, blackberries, black fruit. Cigar box and pencil-case on the palate. Fully mature at ten years of age, should continue to drink well for perhaps 1-2 years but suggest drink up. Woody and tannic, fortunately time has softened some of this. Fully smooth. A decent red, clearly varietal, gutsy but a simple wine. Fairly priced at about $35 but not worth too much more than that.

Big and lush. Blackberry, currant, cocoa. Med-firm tannic mouthfeel. Very Aussie fruit-dominated, but complex spices and chocolate notes. Drinking quite well now.

Menthol eucalyptus with dark chocolate, exotic black plums and cocoa roasted black berries. Typical Aussie and representing the "terroir". Good wine. Great with an Aussie t bone.

Dark, moody, strong.
Still with some fruit and was excellent with roast pork, but was a bit harsh after the meal otherwise it would have scored higher
