Strong nose of green apple counterbalanced with sugar. On the palate it's toasted popcorn, green apple, sugar & spice, and a burnt toffee. Clearly ready to be drunk and may even be past its prime, but still enjoyable.

What a delicious treat this turned out to be. Beautiful color in the glass that is starting to lose its golden hue. Nose was full of apricot, peach and honey. This full bodied wine just laid on the palate with a creamy texture. Hint of acidity accompanied the flavors described on the nose with a little butterscotch on the finish that went on for days.

Rhone Rangers and Lola: Sweet White intermezzo to accompany foie gras - Sweet apricots and botritys. Deeply colored. Sauterne? Light sweet and flavorful. Nice. This was apparently a $15 closeout bargain someplace.

syrupy, advanced gold color, a bit cloying and vulgar next to the d'yquem

Not overly sweet, this is extremely well-balanced, rich, and interesting. Drink now.
