Much better than the one we opened about 2 years ago. Opened up about half an hour after decanting, medium bodied, lovely fruits (mainly cassis and perhaps a touch of raspberry), giving way to a hint of mocha. Tannins a little firm on the finish, but the acid's in perfect balance now so I wouldn't hold for more than another couple of years at most. Bargain given we bought it at $16 a bottle.

My last bottle sadly. Multi-layered wine with bright berries, olive, cedar, menthol, bay leaf; drinking beautifully now with another 5 years left in it if need be.

Smells like Margaret River cabernet. Bush and bayleaf and dust in addition to varietal fruit. Blackcurrant, blackberry and a touch of rasperry. Fine tannin fans out to coat the mouth and is for mine this wines best feature. Moderate finish and some alcohol heat. A bit arms and legs at the moment, perhaps too young to make sense of, or perhaps it will stay that way. After two nights in the fridge the remaining half a bottle had calmed down some, fruit more to the fore, though still not quite balanced.
