Very nice, interesting, well made. Wish a little less alcohol but that comes with this territory. Tannins still very present. Good acidity, touch of roundness/sweetness, lemon-like bitterness. Nose developed, still much fruit but also secondary characteristics. Big wine, goes well with bigger food: had it with a veggie ragu of beans and lentils.

Almost black in the glass. Dark berry nose with plum and some notes of wood. Well integrated dark berries, acidity and modest tannins. Lengthy smooth finish.

Drinking very well. Needs about an hour to open. The Petit Verdot punches through with a delicious note. Paired well with grilled salmon and a spicy Asian style noodle dish.
