What a nice bordeaux blend. This has a bright fruit component without being jammy and an impressive amount of oak, but it some how pulls it all off in a delicious manner.

Tasted at Brix in Omaha. Nose: Medium expressiveness, dark fruit - black berry and cassis with undertones of raspberry and cherry. Palate: Medium to full bodied, gritty dark chocolate and dark fruit carries nicely right the mid-palate to the back-end and dominates a lengthy satisfying finish.

Great nose. This wine gets smoother and smoother as it warms in your glass. Similar to my 2/9/2012 notes.

Immediate attack of jammy black fruits and mouth drying tannins. Better on day 2, but it never really came together.
