45 min decant. Rusty rose color with fading rim. Appeared unfiltered and surprisingly old for the ‘12 vintage. Warm ginger, mulch and orange rind on a nose with a subtle red fruit core. Glossy palate with good acidity. Impressive tannins on the nice long finish. One of the more interesting Pinots I’ve had.
