So...bottle # 2 .....since last reviewed Dec 2021. On nose and palate: still holding up nicely with firm acidity and displaying a fine array of tobacco, herbal and eucalyptus notes, underpinning fresh blueberry and a ghost of cassis and a faint echo of damp earth. Old school Bordeaux....fine food wine...classic medium bodied cru bourgeois....may still last a few years.

A bit of blueberry. A bit of gravel. Maybe some tea. Maybe some baking spice. But otherwise blueberry, blueberry, blueberry, all the way. Personally, I love it when this happens! Distinctively blueberry. NOT sweet. Not jammy. Very undimensional by way of the...you guessed it, blueberry. Drinks French.

Weird scent upon opening, the cork was in a bad shape.
Upon pouring a glass to test the wine I see that the wine is really cloudy.
The wine was full of bret!

Dark plum and rocks on the nose, cherry on the tongue. Still tannic. Decanted for two hours and probably still needs time to open up.
