I love to give older bordeaux a try. It doesn't have to be a perfect, but 76' was good for some producers. The cork was wet and pushed down, so I had to push it down into the wine, and decant the wine.Tasted over 3 hours while decantedThe nose:Coffee, caramel, tomato, sour cherry, burned oak.The palate:Red sour berries, flowers, caramel with an oaky finish. Not that complex but for this appellation that's 45 years old, it's quite good, consider the age. 89P - very impressive
