Napa-Noma Trip: 90% Zinfandel and 10% Petite Sirah. Lovely nose of toasty, cedary oak, butter, American oak, vanilla, and blackberry liqueur. Medium-bodied, sweet attack with a touch of dry tar and rose petals late. Not bad. A bit metallic and flat.

Honeymoon in the Wine Country: 14.7% alcohol. Light spice on the nose. Green leaves, ivy. Sweet black raspberry fruit with good length and concentration. Not huge. Some American oak.

OK, fruity, one-dimensional. Thick muddy texture on palate. 85P
