Dark amber hue, the best way to describe this is like a sticky sweet apple pie with a good dose of cinnamon. Plenty of raisins, dried apricot and even fruit gums, deeply concentrated, but in complete balance. Bitter Seville orange on the finish. This is exceptional passito, one to savour ****1/2

Pop and pour and served after dinner with coconut gelato and biscotti. Sweet. There is an interesting nose, showing some spice, honey notes and dried apricots. But the flavor is too sweet. This is good for a small sip but a full glass and it becomes cloying and uninviting.

Dark amber, slightly cloudy. A touch oxidative nose, with dried apricots, but also aromatic herbs, garrigue, almost a balsamic note. Very elegant and complex, surprisingly refined for a passito. On the palate it is serious, compact, precise. Thick and narrow. Sweet but not too much and keeps a sense of freshness. Flavorwise it gets deeper towards the finish, reaching almost licorice notes. But the in the aftertaste is surprisingly fresh and clean. A wonderful passito. One of the best I have had.

The wine had distinct bubbles and tasted awkward. Obviously there have been som kind of unintended afterfrermentation here.

Talula's Table with a few Berserkers (Talula's Table, Kennett Square, PA): Floral nose with some spice, orange, spearmint, apricot, honeysuckle, bright acidity, dark honey, brown sugar. Very enjoyable and notable for the brightness and acidity. This is not cloying.
