This wine was fantastic. Decanted at a restaurant and found it to be lush, nicely structured, well balanced. Nice initial attack of dark fruit which seamlessly transitioned in the mid palette and a finish that lasted a minute or so. Wish I had more.

Dark red. Nose of sandalwood and cassis. A big punch of fruit in the mouth, with some vanilla and sweet oak mixed in. I can see why Parker liked this -- it's right up his alley -- the flavor is mouth-coating. Soft, supple tannins and moderate acidity make the wine feel a little plush, but the finish is long.
Better than last time; big fruit, sure, but shows some balance and structure. The difference? This was decanted for only 2.5 hours, while the prior bottle was opened for more like 5. Drink 2010-2017.

Big oak and cassis, lots of flavor but lacking in subtlety and balance. It's good if you like that in-your-face style of cab, but not my thing.

The Bristol with Russell Bevan (The Bristol - Chicago, IL): Full nose rich nose. Beautiful herbs with red fruit. Full bodied palate with loads of fruit and herbs. Big tannins as well. Lots of stuffing here. Needs time.

14.6% alcohol. fragrant and full of black currant. a little too cookie-cutter. the addition of the merlot and CF made the red blend overshadow this.
