Light straw color with a nose of minerals and honey. On the palate, zesty lemon notes dominate, with the slightest touch of sweetness on the finish. Almost Sauvignon Blanc-like, but with a fuller body and deeper mid-palate, and not as floral a nose. The lemon/acid flavors, while not a flaw, turn mouth-puckering, so the wine really needs rich food to work. Dinner at home with Dijon fennel roast pork tenderloin, with apples and onions.
