This wine opened with a deep dark crimson colour and an immediately forthcoming nose of dark raspberries, black cherries and garnet plums with touches of spice, licquorice and cedar. The palate is dramatic in its richness yet fine in the length of its fine tannic finish and lifted by a fine line of dark raspberry confit that persists into the finish. This is not New World or Bordeaux but a unique expression of Bordeaux grapes in a distinct Italian terroir. Delicious.

Deep Scarlett color. Big, bright fruits with mint and eucalyptus. Chalky, chewy tannins. Alcohol is noticeably present but will meld with more time. Lots of potential in this wine to unfold many layers.
p.s. homemade golabkis

Delicious fruit profile, easy to drink but tasted a touch watered down. 91
