Brownish red; smell warm, vanilla, leather, intensive, slow legs; taste raisins, plum, full-bodied, mouth-drying (well, it's now 11 years), black currant, medium long. Worth the 6€ spent and this wine is good yet more like table wine - reliable but middle-class.

colours are beginning to fade, but still bright on the nose. red fruits, especially strawberry. not too much fruit left on the palate, but a really lovely persistent finish. after an hour in the decanterit had developed ox-blood characteristics, really similar to aged burgundy. lovely stuff. not sure how long i've got to sup my last bottle but on this showing it won't take long to tempt me again.

This wine completely blew me away. I bought it two years ago, just as a every day drinking wine. Nice then, but a bit harsh and foursquare. My grilfriend found this one in the cellar somewhere on a back shelf and we decided to open it just out of curiosity, just to look what might have come of it. It was incredible: in superb balance, very tender, revealing its full complexity of dried cherry, figs, small strawberry and soft, sweet spices. There was a very nice lift of milk chocolate and praliné on the end. Tannins still there but ompletely smoothened out. Fresh sours support the picture. Pity I didn't buy some more bottles. Drink now!

Bland but quite drinkable. Mild tannins still.
