Medium ruby/garnet with medium intensity, aroma, salve, Violette, blackberry, black, currant, leather, tobacco, tire, Asian spice. And this wine has medium tanand with high alcohol, medium body and medium acidity. this wine has medium intensity, flavors of violet, blackberry, tobacco, leather, butter, scotch, and mushroom. This wine has a medium finish and is a, good wine that should be drunk immediately as I suspect it is already in decline.

A mid level Italian red from the Montepulciano region
In preparation for a trip to the region, I am re-familiarizing myself with some of these affordable gems. This one is a medium body light ruby colored red. For all of its thin and slightly watery mouth feel there are some diverse notes. Palette include cherries, mild amounts of leather and light tobacco. Quite balanced acidity and tannin with some body into the finish.
The finish is mostly cherries, more light tobacco and a strange baking spice. The wine is overall balanced and comes across as medium body structured wine with ample fruit and complexity. A very good value.

Nicely rounded and drinking very well. Juicy with good acidity but light resolved tannins. Still nicely sweet fruit, with red plum and tart cherry. Delicious, but not overly complex. Nice value for money.

Juicy, but not overly fresh, medium plum and red cherry fruit. Reasonably complex with leather, tar and tobacco. Overall, very nice and great with food.
