Nose: fresh rose, soap, red fruits, herbal, green pepper, Notes: behind the seemingly elegant nose there's a rustic and meaty feel behind this which is pretty much a typical Nuits Saint Georges thing. 2017 is known and probably tested to be early accessible for a very good reason, nevertheless I wouldn't go so far to say that the wine is ready now. I do agree that it's not too harsh to drink now and tannins comparing to other young vintages are relatively soft so that would make the wine easier to drink at this age. This wine will need another 5-6 years of cellaring to reach its full potential. If I come across this bottle again I think I would resample it in a few years time. Drink: 2028+ Rating: 88
