Wow! What a little cellaring can do for a very good wine. Two years have passed since the last bottle, and the difference is amazing. Wine has become very aromatic, with cherries, black fruit and a touch of spice, smooth tannins, a great balance, great mouth feel and a long polished finish. Last bottle. Darn!!

Liked it better than last tasting. An almost excellent merlot, smooth tannins, nice balance, fruit, touch of spice, great mouth feel. Paired nicely with rare beef roast.

Popped and poured. Very dark hue. Nose of black fruit and spice. Good fruit, but tasted a bit too oaky for my palate. Not bad for a weeknight wine.
