  Light golden color. I was a bit afraid that this might be too rich and oxidative. Quite the opposite. Light on its feet, elegant and racy with good mid mouth palate, sappy finish on lingering aromatics around showy petrol, herbs, fennel and quince. A great dey Risling that is comfortably in its drinking window at age 15.

  PNP into 薄はり葡萄酒器 (“Root” to “No” day): Deep golden to the eyes.
  
  As consistent with previous tastings of this cuvee, this has its highly fragrant yellow floral notes that is quite signature, more stone fruits like apricots and peaches. Minerality that is tingy. Clearly more extraction but also a little more forward than the Emrich-Schoenleber’s style.
  
  2nd and 3rd round: very high acidity in the 3rd round. Pineapple like exotic fruits emerged too. 93-94 points easy.

  Advanced but still drinking great (likely still at peak- with time left). Dark, almost caramel/orange color. Paired great with Thai coconut curry dishes.

  An evening with wine geeks (Ristorante da Salvo, Stuttgart): Glass: WMF white wine
  Bottle popped and poured. Clear, pale golden color. Clean, medium+ intense, developing nose. A bit more feminine in comparison to the Hubacker with ripe yellow fruit, nettles, garden herbs and a lovely freshness.
  On the palate some sweetness and in combination with some passion fruit it makes the wine a bit more baroque. Creamy mouthfeel. Perfectly balanced, great tension and a wonderful length. A worthy opponent to the Hubacker and a wine with an aging potential of at least 5+ years. 93

  Get it blind
  Not my cup of tea, stylewise. For a 2008 a bit too broad and not precise in the finish. Creamy as often in Pfalz Rieslings. Good with food. 90-91
