Medium to dark yellow. The nose seems advanced, there are notes of overripe apple, dried apricot, caramel and toffe. It's fresher in the mouth, but the aromatic profile in the mouth doesn't follow the nose and the acidity sticks out a bit. Not bad, but fairly disappointing.

Rich, screaming acids, tropical fruits & Medium finish. This paired well with lobster and stood its own w/ some other heavy hitter wines. This was loved by the riesling-phobes in the group. Not sure of the QPR- I think it was about $70.

(Rebholz Burkweiler Kastanienbusch Grosses Gewachs) This was brilliant too but a tad below the ’05 Kastanienbusch in quality. Ethereal nose again of lavender, lilies, sea spray, salinity, and orange blossoms. Pure and detailed. Palate was very concentrated with flavors of exotic citrus, incredible finesse and deep pungent stanky minerality. A great showing.

Very tight. Doesn't yield much on the nose and the palate is slightly short. May come out of the hole but not so enjoyable right now.
