not sure if it was a bit off? slight hint of oxidation with raisiny/pruny taste. note had some tropical fruit, medium weight but that raisiny taste was a bit hard to get over.. just ok..85 pts or so if it's normal.. but i think it might be slightly flawed.

I like Qupe's whites and have enjoyed this in the past, but was not convinced by this bottle. Rather 'burnt' and clumsy. Stood up to a whole range of different food but in a rather combative way!

On the nose, this wine is extremely expressive for the varietal. Cantaloup, lemon sorbet, lavender, apricot, honeycomb and peach cobbler all waft gently from the glass. The palate is about as soft and velvety as a wine can be. For a new world wine it is surprisingly subtle. It is intriguing and seductive.

This wine is still drinking incredibly well. Continues to evolve two hours after being open. Wonderful acidity.
