Chablis Tasting; 12/1/2012-12/17/2012: A good price for a Premier Cru, from 25 year old vines, aged in both stainless tanks and barrel. Light yellow in color. Rich nose of saline, chalk, green melon. In the mouth its bright, well balanced, that lingers pleasantly on the finish.

Much better value propositions out there!. Light, crisp pleasant drinkable wine but lacking in complexity. Bouquet of melon that carries through to the crisp initial taste. There is a huge hole in the mid-palate with the barest hint of citrus to let you know the wine hasn't been watered down. Short finish with a burst of acid that is peasant but not inspiring.

(La Chablisienne Chablis 1er Cru Côte de Léchet) Light straw yellow color; appealing, tart lemon, green apple, lightly saline, oyster jus nose; tasty, crisp, minerally, saline, tart lemon, palate with medium acidity; medium-plus finish (from vines averaging 25 years old; 12 mos on fine lees in tanks and small barrels)

Très bon, assez complexe, belle longueur. J'aime. À racheter.
