  Very strong nose. Decanted for 30 minutes before tasting. Vanilla, cherry, dark red fruits. So tannic that it has a light texture in the mouth. Medium-full bodied, smooth length

  Deep crimson; prunes, black cherries, wood smoke, tar; pruney, dried cherry, herbal, medium-full body, tangy acidity, astringent tannins, decent finish.
  Still youthful with firm tannins, needed coaxing to reveal the fruit. Good wine technically but lacking the "joie de vivre" that would make me want to buy it again.

  Nose of blackberry and spice. Flavour is fruity blackberry at first, with some plum and tartness in the finish. Smooth and medium bodied.
