Purchased from Ojai Vineyard tasting room. From memory. Decanted. Took about 1.5h to come together. Nice complex aromas of petrol, apples, flowers, and minerals. On the palate, there was a mild petrol note with gala apples, flowers, almost fresh cut grass, and herbs. Very nice acids accompany and balance the fruit. A nice rendition of CA riesling that absolutely show that they can age.

Ojai and Burgundies - Not a Bad Saturday (Weygandt Wines - Washington, D.C.): light color hints a subtle, weaker wine, but this is definitely not that. the nose is full of papaya, peach and some honey. medium+ mody. medium sweetness, but it's a pure kind of sweetness, like melted cane sugar. lychee, honeyed pineapple and some lemon-lime on the finish. a big riesling, but one that's refined and quite exquisite.

Saturday Afternoon @ Weygandt Wines (Weygandt Wines, Cleveland Park, Washington D.C.): Fresh nose of pears, some delicate apple and smokey oak. Subtle minerals on the palate, this is a richer style of riesling that had apple butter and smokey minerals. Long finish.
