  • 7.5/10 - Received this as a gift so not sure of the value for money component of the wine. Assuming decent pricing, this could be a very attractive wine. Smooth red fruit of raspberries, blackberries and strawberries with hints of spice. Light-medium bodied with a light layer of fine grained tannins. Pretty well integrated and drinking well now. An enjoyable wine but just lacking a little bit of excitement and complexity to push it over the 90 mark.

  • Nice and lightish GSM. (Grenache 54%, Mataro 34.5%, Shiraz 11.5%). Had two bottles, first decantered 90 minutes prior to drinking, 2nd was popped and poured. First was smoother then the 2nd, but the 2nd opened up quickly. Good drinking now and will hold up for another couple of years. [cork, 14.8% alc]

  • This little beauty is a secret....shared with only the worthy. Dont cellar it....just drink it NOW. I have consumed two cases of the 2006 and sadly this was my last bottle. Am awaiting a case of the 07' but the 06' is no more. At $24.00 a bottle this has to be the best value GSM of the Barossa. A great fruity explosion, light enough for a daytime bbq, but with enough balls to hang in there over a candle lit dinner for two
