Disappointingly flat, bland, and free of character or vivaciousness. Imbalanced, and there's even some heat despite the fact that this was a cool vintage. Ugh! I expected better from The Eyrie Vineyards.

Tasted November 16, 2007. Opened and served immediately. Light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of orange, grapefruit, lychee and peach. Flavors of lychee, pears, grapefruit and minerals. Almost a bit earthy on the medium finish. Medium acidity, light body. Drink over the short term.

Very average with no a lot of variatal character. Typical for a $10 bottle but not anywhere near what I paid.
