  • Decanted for about 2 hours.
Full nose of dark fruits, with a touch of mint and rich earth. Some nice, savory herb notes.
Medium to full bodied, and in great balance. Tannins are still firm, but well integrated. The blackberry and black currant fruit flavors are still fresh. Has a nice underpinning of herbal flavors. Long, long finish.
Excellent pairing with Seared Elk Steaks with Black Currant Reduction Sauce.
